One kind of merry-go-round

This one is from 3rd grade

Mmm bloop-bloop, Mmm bloop-bloop, Mmm bloop, bloop, bloop
Hear the music make a bloopy, bloopy, jingle, jangle sound,
See the horses go a prancing and a dancing all around.
We will pay the man our money, then we'll ride and ride and ride
On the very merry, merry-go-round
Riding side by side
Bloop, Bloop! Click here for vocal

I think this was a 4th grade song :-)

Wouldn't you like to be a whale and sail serenely by,
An eighty foot whale from the tip to your tail and a tiny briny eye?
Wouldn't you love to wallow where nobody says come out?
Wouldn't you love to swallow and blow all the brine about?
Wouldn't you like to be so clean and never have to wash, I mean?
Wouldn't you love to spout? Oh, yes, just think.
A feather of spray, sailing away, rising and sinking, and sinking and rising,
And blowing the brine about! Click here for vocal

I think this song is just plain fun. Sorry cannot give credit where credit is due. It was in a child's songbook that we used when I attended Mt. Zion Grade School in fourth grade 1955-56. I have remembered the song all these years as many others that I may list. If I have info as to who wrote and published them I will list it.
