I think this song was one we learned in fourth grade. I have sung this lullaby to all of my children (3) and nearly all of my grandchildren (soon to be 14). I love it.
Sweet and Low, sweet and low,
Wind of the western sea,
Blow, blow, breathe and blow
Wind of the western sea.
Over the rolling waters go,
Come from the dying moon and blow,
Blow him again to me,
While my little one, while my pretty one sleeps.

My hope is to leave a musical heritage for my grandchildren. Childhood songs I remember from school, songs my Dad sang to me as a child, Hymns and Psalms I love, and songs from History using Singsnap as an aid. I saw recently someone said, "Anything you hear or see here that is good is from God and anything that is bad is from me". I pray that you will recognize that as you visit this blog.
